Fast-Paced Multiplayer Action in Hyenas
Hyenas is an exhilarating hero-based multiplayer extraction shooter available on Xbox One. Players select from a diverse roster of Hyenas, each equipped with unique weapons, abilities, and personalities, to form a crew of three. The game unfolds on expansive, themed 'Plunderships' that are transporting valuable salvaged Merch from Earth to Mars. Competing against four other crews, players must strategize to locate and crack secured vaults, gathering enough Merch to secure their escape before rival teams do.
The gameplay is characterized by fast and frenetic combat, with added challenges from the 'MURFs'—security forces determined to protect the cargo. Once a crew successfully collects enough Merch, they can activate the Plundership's VIP Extraction point, marked on the map. Players must then navigate the zero-gravity areas of the Plundership, where combat dynamics shift dramatically, and ambush tactics become crucial. The first crew to escape with their loot is declared the winner, making for intense and competitive gameplay.
